I always jump at the chance to produce work for another recording artist, and when the opportunity to produce a full length album with N!X! came up, I jumped into it.

We recorded the vocals via email, mostly with N!X! recording snippets as she went on with normal life and was hit with inspiration. We then started arranging the thoughts into song concepts, and then rerecorded everything over the finalised instrumentals.

It was a very warm time of the year and I’d walk around listening to Aqua – Aquarium for inspiration, you might notice some nods to the production style in this album.

“Accelerate!” became a popular track from this album, and it’s one of my favourites, coincidentally. It tells a full story with very simple language and the music is always propelling forward.

Initially conceptualised as a “good driving music” album.

Possibly one of my favourite music projects to date.
