The Process: Rather than instantaneous realisation, this work explores a method of clandestine sequencing. Patterns are constructed and matured in isolation before being introduced at the start of a bar: a delayed “flooding” into the main mix. This technique highlights the tension between the hidden and the revealed, allowing the listener to experience the sudden structural shifts of an incrementally built soundscape.
